is the governing body of Track & Field in Norway.Norges Fri-idrettsforbund is nationally a member the Norwegian Olympic Committee and Confederation of Sports who governs all sports in Norway.Internationally Norges Fri-idrettsforbund is member of the International Association of Athletics Federations (I.A.A.F.) and the European Athletics (E.A.).Norges Fri-idrettsforbund was founded 1 May 1896 and consists today of 19 district organisastion and close to 850 member-clubs throughout Norway, with approximately 75.000 individual members.
